“晒”，也有“公开”的意思，如：权力必须晒在阳光下，必须加强监督。
“晒”，在网络上流行就是本着“分享你的一切，晒出你的一切可以晒的东西”的指导思想，在网络上展示自己的资源、与人分享等，如：晒心情，日记；晒房子，晒衣服；晒摄影作品，晒旅游心得等等。当然也有一些人把他人的隐私也晒到网上，美其名曰“光明磊落地暴露”。
