第二天当他意识到自己从珍藏馆带出的那本书，已是珍藏馆唯一存世的书的时候，他陷入了纠结之中。
最终，他敲开了校长霍里厄克的办公室。霍里厄克校长收下书，感谢了他，然后下令把他开除出校。理由是，这名学生违反了校规。
